Hello everyone! Here we come with more inspiration for our February Challenge! That was an easy one right? If you have not entered your project you still have a little time! Have you seen the amaziiiing goodies the winner will be getting this month? The dt is drooling over here LOL.
Here is the super adorable project created by Melanie Labelle! What a great color combo she picked…and it looks amazing on this Mixed Media project!
Material used: Claudine Hellmuth acrylic paints, Sticky back canvas, Creative medium shimmer, Magnolia Stamp, Distress ink pads and Memory box dies.
Now it is time for our spotlight! Guest Designer Tammy Werner! Let’s see what Tammy is up to!
My name is Tammy Werner and I am so excited and honored to be this week’s mixed media guest designer for the Oozak Challenge Anything Goes Your Favorite Colors. I am ready for spring and desperately want to chase away those winter blues (literally) so I chose my favorite color combination blue and brown.
I have been scrapbooking for approximately 17 years and my style has evolved tremendously. I have been creating cards regularly only for the last few years. I have found while on my card making journey, I almost always try to incorporate some type of distressing technique in my cards. I just discovered Copic Markers about 6 months ago and I am totally addicted! I love the outdoors and many of my designs are inspired by elements of nature.
Here’s my take on this month’s challenge:
For my design, I used the following supplies:
Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Tissue Tape
Tim Holtz Distress Paints: Picket Fence, Vintage Stain, and Broken China
Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pad: Walnut Stain
Ranger Perfect Pearls Mist: Blue Smoke
Sakura Clear Glaze Pen
My Mind’s Eye Paper
Other: Various assorted dimensional paper and resin flowers, metal brads and chipboard accent.
Thank you Tammy for creating this lovely project. Lovely take on texture and distress! It was a super pleasure to spotlight your work!
Remember folks if you would like to tryout for a Guest Designer Spot just add (GDT) next to your name when entering your project on the challenge Inlinkz! Yeap..very easy! Yes you do win a gift!
